Escuela San Quintin - Mexico
Photos in this set are courtesy of Edd Bissell. According to its Facebook page, "San Quintin School is about 40 kilometers from downtown Puerto Vallarta in the Sierra Madre Mountains. In early 2007 Edd started mentoring this small school with a censes of 23-30 students from Kindergarden thru 6th grade." The Fellowship Sunday School Class has been supporting this school by raising funds to help with supplies.

School 3
In spring of 2010 we had 27 students give or take a few during the year -- primary increase is due to a FULL time teacher for our new Kindergarden class. Still crowded but MUCH improved in supplies, cleanliness , toilet facilities, fresh water INTO the school, etc.

School's Out Party
Some of the funds from our church members helped the kids celebrate the close of another school year. School mentor Edd Bissell, says about the party, " . . . and it was a hit. I have every type of drink and cookies and candies and chewing gum you could come up with --- bought CostCo out --- The ate and ate and ate more !! Everytime they finished up a box of anything I pulled out another one !!"

Traditionally the GodFather of the Baptized kid throws HANDS FULL OF COINS outside the Church after the Ceremony Now -- look what the boys are doing with their coins --- Pitching conis -- closest to the line !! Remember that as a kid ?

The smiling boy right above the little girl in pink blouse was Baptized this day -- BIG day for a Catholic LOTS of food by the parents -- and I am usually invited too all of the shindigs ---
